    The 1869 Rice Covered Bridge, also known as the Landisburg Covered Bridge, is a historic wooden covered bridge located in Tyrone Township near Landisburg in Perry County, Pennsylvania. Rice Bridge is a 132-foot-long combination Burr truss and queen post bridge, constructed in 1869. It crosses Sherman Creek and was rehabilitated in 2003.

     

    Of the 1,500 covered bridges that once stood in the state of Pennsylvania, as of 2019, approximately 200 remain.
